I love designing albums and have taken a number of years to select the best suppliers and formats for you. I now offer a range of albums to suit all tastes and budgets which you can find in the online store of your wedding gallery which are to be designed by you. However, my bespoke and luxury album design service is for Queensberry albums, I have chosen this supplier as to put it simply, they are the best - of course this means they come with a price tag - How do you justify this? How much do you spend on a sofa? How many years would you have that sofa? will your sofa consist of memories from one the most special days in your life? Will your sofa become a family heirloom, even after you are gone? passed to children, grandchildren? I think there is your answer.
Queensberry albums are not included in the online store but showcased here in this brochure. Ranging from matted albums through to textured page photo albums, using exquisite french sourced papers made to specifications ensuring their sustainability with textures to enhance the papers natural qualities, and specially selected leathers from the finest tanneries.
The purpose of my bespoke album design service is to tell the story of your day using a mixture of both colour and black + white images including detail shots, portraits and informal story-telling images in your individual design, printed and hand made by skilled artisans in New Zealand.
Take a browse through the album photos and prices below and please do read all of the information provided including the FAQ section before purchase.
"Nicci, I just cried so many happy tears. We are literally speechless, this album is exquisite.
We are honestly so thrilled with it and cannot thank you enough. It’s just
wonderful and really tells our story. Best album ever.
Utter PERFECTION. THANK YOU!!!
This luxurious album is the pinnacle of my photography and Queensberry’s design expertise, and has become almost legendary amongst my clients, their family and friends, I’m talking take out the white gloves. I’ll work with you to design the finished album to your exact specifications, resulting in a truly personal album which you will treasure forever.
This is the very album I have my own wedding photos displayed in. Images are traditionally mounted, with every aperture cut by talented artisans hands in New Zealand. These albums have a unique contemporary twist in that they can combine fully printed pages within the album (printed onto the page material even full spreads or printed to the edges of pages, as well as having some pages that have traditionally mounted images (in windows) making it the Duo, making it unique, timeless and authentic - the Duo is a patented design available only with Queensberry. If you are looking for something truly unique and luxurious then this is certainly the album for you.

Minimalist and versatile with a real modern feel to it. This album is in the style of a coffee table book, your photos are printed directly onto the lay flat pages, with a choice of page material; beautiful and thick fine art papers popular for it’s rich matte finish, or for the classic coffee table book finish true photographic lustre pages (silver halide).
These books have a luxury yet modern vibe to them yet the fine art paper option gives it an almost french, arty, vintage feel about them. With every detail of every printed image almost embossed into the paper. The quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail second to none.
Every album has a bespoke design and I work with you to create the perfect album for YOU.

I like to see choosing your album cover a bit like choosing a sofa, except this will be forever, there's a wide selection of covers and cover motifs included in the album price or you can upgrade to alternative covers and if you prefer then also cover embossing.
The album is supplied in a beautiful grey drawstring velvet bag and standard Queensberry box packaging or you can upgrade to a black or ivory box or a carry case. If you scroll further down toward the end of this page you will see all of these options from colours, materials and fonts. Personally I think when choosing a cover colour that neutral or ethereal shades tend to work better to suit most home displays, unless you are purchasing an ivory or black box for your album. Alternatively, many prefer to choose the a colour from their wedding.

“This is soooo different, the textured paper is unreal, and has such an arty vibe. Our photos look beautiful and the whole album is just so unique. We love the way you designed this Nicci, it has a real modern edge to it yet feels authentic with the textures and vintage leather cover. We cannot thank you enough.”
I don’t ask for a list of photos from you for the design as this would not only be time consuming for you but I know which will flow together in a layout making it easier for me to design without a full extensive list. What I do ask is that you just tell me your 5-10 absolute favourite images to have as the large main feature photos in your album, and if possible any that you would rather not be included at all - you know, the plus ones, the guests you just had to invite to keep certain family members happy... and so on. I’m not to know who these people are so it saves a lot of time if you let me know the image numbers first. I can also see your favourites selected in your online gallery if that helps.
Every wedding is different, as is every album unique. I design all of these albums to suit each couple and their photos. The amount of photos included tends to fall between 50 and 150 images depending on the size of album, the amount of images, pages and the design style.
Once the album design is complete, you will receive a link to view this, here you can easily add notes online to each page advising me of images you’d like removed, note image numbers which you’d like to use to replace current ones or as additional images, you can also let me know if you’d like me to change the layout of a page or remove one. It’s as simple as that - once you press send, I will receive your notes and make the changes. The album will not be ordered until you are happy with your design.
Album design can only take place during the months between mid-November and mid-April due to the busy editing season for weddings. I like to be able to focus fully on each design for every couple giving it the time required to tell your unique story. From your confirmation for design and to send to print, I ask that you then allow up to six weeks for these bespoke handmade albums.
If you require parent or handbag albums which are duplicates of your main album then these can only be ordered at the time of your main album order. You can purchase a parent album separately with it’s own design although this will incur a second design fee. Alternatively you can purchase a small digital copy book as detailed in the pricing above.
I actually recommend clients purchase their album after their wedding enabling you to decide which album suits YOUR photos best. I also believe it takes a few months to decide on favourites as you start to notice more and more in your photos. I keep your photos for a minimum of three years, after this it is still possible to purchase an album, however, you may be required to supply the images.
Why not add Adorlee Gift Vouchers to your Wedding Gift list, or as an anniversary gift, you can tell me a limit and once you’ve reached that amount I can let your loved ones know when you have enough! I also offer Try Before You Buy - a free 2-page design, or if you would like to see a full design of your wedding before committing just pay the design fee of £250, if you decide to purchase the album then the £250 will be deducted from the album price. Album prices will be held for 6 months after your design is complete.
There is of course also the option of designing an alternative album yourself in the online store of your gallery and purchasing that one instead.
The £250 design fee is due before any work is commenced. Once you have given me confirmation that you are happy with your full design, I ask you to sign it off and pay the remainder of your balance. Once both of these are received, I shall place the order.
NB: the £250 design fee is included in all album prices quoted in this brochure, it is not an additional fee.

If you would rather I just select the images please note this on the form, although please be aware that I am not to know who your plus ones are or everyone who is more important to you (other than the obvious immediate family/ bridesmaids/ groomsmen) therefore there will likely be photos you need to swap or maybe photos of you that I think are beautiful or emotive which you may not be so keen on. This is not an issue though, once the initial design is complete you will receive an email with a link to view the design and you can leave comments on each page for me advising of what changes you'd like me to make, you then submit the requested changes to me and I will make the amendments and send you another link. we can do this again and again with as many changes as you like in each submission for up to 3 submissions.
Please note your preferred font and the exact text you'd like for your translucent title page when you first open your album.

Add your personal touch
Now that you’ve chosen your cover material and colour, you can now choose if you’d like to personalise it and how - from personal embossing, a cover motif or with a photo front or wrap-around cover.
your cover
A cover motif is an inlay added to the front cover of the album to display an image or graphic on a coloured backing. You can choose from a range of styles, including a variety of both text and image options, and with backing colours to suit all tastes. Available on all cover materials with multiple formats from square, horizontal or vertical motifs with photo only, text only or photo and text - the photo can be full bleed so to the edge or have a frame. A backing colour behind to surround the motif can also be added if you wish - choose from gold, silver, black, or white.
Wrap-around covers can project a variety of "looks" from an old-school leather-bound journal to a discreet elegant album. Available in all cover materials except Micro Leather.
A photographic print is bound to the front cover, protected by a textured laminate. The material of your choice covers the spine and back. Both "half" and "full" Photo Front covers are available.
Perhaps our most popular cover style. Select from our range of fonts and supply the text you want us to emboss — typically names and dates. Some fonts allow for two lines of text, some one. The embossing can be foiled in one of seven colours or blind embossed (no foil).
You may prefer to supply your own artwork for us to emboss, such as a monogram or logo, or a font that's not available in our standard range. Or you may need more characters than our standard range offers. The cost will depend on the size. Blind or foil embossed.
