I’d been looking forward to this St Ives summer wedding all year, I studied at art college with Hayley – many years ago back when we were just in our teens! When Hayley said that she would be marrying Kieron in the stunning setting of St Ives in Cornwall, I was absolutely thrilled that she wanted me to be there to capture it! I hadn’t met Kieron until the day of the wedding, although having grown up in the same area as them, I knew a few guests but particularly Hayley and one of her bridesmaids, Katy, and I knew this was to be a fun St Ives Harbour Hotel & Spa.
I had the pleasure of having Clare West Photography accompany me as second photographer and we had such an awesome time, it was just one of those weddings where we couldn’t stop taking pictures, it was seriously hard to take a break, everything was just so beautiful.
I loved being with the girls on the morning of their wedding, the sun was shining, I could see the gorgeous blue sea from the balcony and their room was white and LIGHT – my favourite. From giggles in the bedroom, their two most stunning cute daughters, a romantic ceremony looking out to sea, to drinks and mingling on the lawn, through to fun down the beach …. yes, of course we went to the beach, how could we not! and not just with the newly weds but also all the guests and bridal party. It was great and I just adore the beach shots, just see for yourself.
The sensational colourful meringues you see in the photos below were made by Hayley, and they were delicious! She makes loads of these and has her very own business called Little Kiss Meringues – highly recommend!
A MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS to Hayley and Kieron, we absolutely loved being a part of your St Ives summer wedding and I wish you all the very best for your future as husband and wife. Â
