Absolutely love, love, love this couple! You know when you meet two people who are just so incredibly in love that they can’t stop smiling, can’t stop looking at each other and are literally inseparable, well this is Alex and Amy.
When I had photographed their engagement shoot that was the perfect opportunity for us to get to know one another and I could instantly see why these two were getting married, I could also see that Amy will just giggle with nerves everytime the camera was aimed at her! I loved this, she would have a total giggling fit and I had to keep reminding her to just giggle in my direction instead of looking away!
The Wedding day wasn’t much different, everytime I looked at these two, Amy would be giggling away and Alex would be looking down lovingly and proud, even in the morning Amy was in fits of giggles with Lucy and Lauren, the talented ladies from ID brial make-up, hair & beauty ….
Okay, so on to the Wedding which was held at my regular haunt and one of my favourite Wedding Barn venues, Southend Barns, I can literally leave this place and be back home tucked up in bed 15 minutes later! Southend Barns is an authentic vintage style wedding barn with a touch of modern class, it’s simple yet beautiful and everything is in one place with various barns around the courtyard and gardens. This lovely couple didn’t hold back and had beautiful flowers and signs throughout the venue, a dress by Maggie Sottero and rings by no other than Timothy Roe Fine Jewellery in chichester.
Alex and Amy had the most gorgeous day, and although a little overcast the sun put his hat on later in the afternoon for some stunning romantic portraits in the wild flowers and even allowed for sunny outdoor speeches. The whole day ran smoothly and me and Bev thoroughly enjoyed capturing this special day for such a wonderful couple.
A huge congratulations to you both Alex & Amy, I really do wish you every bit of happiness for your furture together as hubby and wifey, and I can’t wait to show you the rest of your photos.. here’s a little sneak peak to keep you smiling.
